In each of my classes, the main goal is that all students will be able to reach the stated learning targets. All of my instruction is centered around these targets so that students will certainly meet these goals by the end of each unit. At different points in each unit, students will be assessed on the Learning Targets. Students will be fully aware of the learning target they are being assessed on at all points of the year. If there is confusion about this, please come talk to me. The learning targets for each class can be found on that class's page. Please remember that these are the end goals for each unit of study and therefore all of our work up to these assessments are designed to help you successfully reach these goals. The grade breakdown for these assignments will be attached to the individual piece of work.

This section of your grade is weighted the least in the overall grade but it is meant to provide you with feedback on your work ethic and overall behavior in my class. Your code of conduct grade is based on how well you follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your class, how you participate, and if you are turning your work in on time. I expect your best, and so should you. If you are concerned about this grade, please come talk to me. The SOPs for each class are posted on that class's page. For every time I have to tell you to put your phone away, you will lose a point in this category. *This grade will not change once it is in the grade-book.
Grade Breakdown:
10 ~ You have done the best you can do and all of your work has been turned in on time. 8 ~ Your behavior has been the best you can do, however, you have some late work. Or your behavior was lacking today but all of your work is turned in. 5 ~ Your behavior can be improved and you have late work. Or you behavior has been the best you can do but you have 3 or more assignments that are missing. |

You have met some of the expectations for the assignment and have a basic understanding of the content being uncovered. |

You have met some of the expectations for the assignment and have somewhat of an understanding of the content being uncovered. |
D |
You have not met most of the expectations for the assignment and you appear to not have an understanding of the content being uncovered. |
F |
You did not hand in this assignment and this is the equivalent to a 0 in the gradebook. Please hand the assignment in as soon as possible. |
